Hi, I’m Michelle Simmons. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate, supervised by Larry Bell, LMFT-S. I earned my Master of Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University, and I’m passionate about helping individuals and families build healthy, supportive relationships.
As a structural therapist, I draw from a variety of approaches — with a special focus on solution-focused and cognitive behavioral therapy — always tailoring my work to meet each person’s unique needs. I believe therapy is most powerful when it’s collaborative, individualized, and rooted in trust.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent 16 wonderful years teaching preschool, where I developed a deep love for working with children and their families. I continue to use play and creativity in my sessions with kids, helping them express their emotions, build confidence, and discover their own inner strengths.
Outside of my professional work, I’m also a wife and a proud mom of two. My experiences as a parent deepen my understanding and passion for helping families navigate the challenges and joys of growing together.
I feel honored to walk alongside my clients on their journeys toward growth, healing, and connection.
