     I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker who has a PhD in social work and a Master of Social Work degree both from the University of Kansas.  As an active duty counselor in the USAF for nearly 20 years, I have engaged with hundreds of individuals, couples and families as they have worked to address such things as anxiety, depression, shame, vulnerability, phase of life issues, grief and loss, relationship concerns, communication challenges, and anger management. I provide counseling for those who are seeking a journey of discovery.

I earned a Master of Science in Juvenile Forensic Psychology from Prairie View A&M University and a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in private practice, as well as child welfare and juvenile probation agencies.

    Nikki Brown is a bilingual Licensed Clinical Social Worker that provides counseling to children, adolescents, adults and families to identify and embrace their best selves.

    Nikki uses cognitive-behavioral therapy, DBT and mindfulness, with a focus on solutions and strengths.  She includes play and art in sessions with youth and is completing certification to be a Registered Play Therapist.

    Dr. Tawanda Kitchen’s academic and mental health wellness journey includes a bachelor’s degree from Biola University in Communications, Masters from California State University Fresno in Counseling, Learning Behavior Specialist Certification (Illinois), Doctorate in Educational Leadership & Management from Alliant International University. My professional experiences throughout the country (California, Illinois, Louisiana, and Texas) are trauma informed and coupled with an extensive background in student services, ACES (Adverse Childhood Experiences) and first-generation college students. The primary goal of our session is to promote transparency, self-care and interpersonal growth.

    Hi, my name is Margo Farris, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Don Zablosky, LPC-S, LMFT-S, NCC. I provide counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults using a variety of counseling approaches that best suits each individual client such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and I incorporate Play Therapy for young children. My specialties are working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, behavioral adjustment, ADHD, and life transitions. I have over 20 years of experience working with children and families in a variety of settings; I am currently serving in the role of licensed Professional School Counselor.

I help people grow through the uneasy transitions, the uncomfortable feelings, and the challenging emotional storms that we go through as we journey through life. I work with children, teens, and adults in many areas but my specialty is in helping people navigate issues with identity, and deal with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and emotional regulation, so they feel more connected and whole. I help people through some pretty tough life transitions as well as understanding the emotions that come with them.
