Hi, I’m Sydnie! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate (LPC-A), supervised by Jennifer Galske-Reid, M.S. LPC-S. I believe therapy is a space where we can show up as our authentic selves—messy, complex, and human—and begin the process of healing and growth.
Before becoming a counselor, I served in the U.S. Navy and spent over a decade as an educator. Both experiences taught me a lot about resilience, empathy, and the power of connection. They also shaped how I show up in the therapy room—with curiosity, compassion, and a deep respect for each person’s unique journey.
I work with couples, families, and individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, religious trauma and deprogramming, anxiety, and depression. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth. I often draw from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and mindfulness practices to help clients strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and find meaning and balance in their lives.
My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to take the next steps toward the life you want.
